31 12 2003 (17:01) Hmmm... New years resolutions...
Was going to say substance over pulchritude should be the main one, but think i'm going to go for a mix of both...
Oh, and more gym to shift that xmas excess.
31 12 2003 (10:42) Time for a review of the year. In 2003, 3 was the magic number.
3 loved. 3 lost. 3 months redundant. 3 weeks short of redudancy payout. 3 months nhs waiting list. 3 years tax returns (argh!) and 3 mobiles bit the dust!
30 12 2003 Links page updated for some Amazon Listmania efforts.
29 12 2003 [ media ] Growing old is compulsory - growing up is optional -
Sir Bob Monkhouse 1928-2003
27 12 2003 Mudtastic gallery update for a 'all wheel drive club' off roading day in Borden.
26 12 2003 Some quotes from
the little book of complete bollocks (and they really are just that)
- 'The old you is only the new you waiting to be undressed. Or vice versa.'
- 'Satisfy your inner child by eating ten tubes of smarties.'
- 'Never underestimate the healing power of custard.'
(I particularly like that last one)
25 12 2003 Christmas day was very tiring for
Mason.
24 12 2003 This one goes round every year. Track Santa's progress
here.
23 12 2003 Governments and computers do not mix!
Proof if ever it were needed that the data protection needs revising.
22 12 2003 Work xmas party in
gallery.
17 12 2003 Now using
Plaxo as a contacts manager. Easy to keep contacts updated and centralised. Useful considering the number of mobiles i've mislaid!
16 12 2003 Hobby for the new year...
wardriving. Have the 'SUV'. Have the laptop. Lets go...
12 12 2003 [ kylie! ] My Kylie advent calendar is proving rather
popular...
02 12 2003 [ tech : piracy ] Well, would you pay
any more? 01 12 2003 Countdown to Christmas begins with a Kylie advent calendar ;) and a train! (
pic1 |
pic2) What the train has to do with christmas I've yet to work out.
29 11 2003 New toy. Well bit of a big toy at that
>>> 25 11 2003 Well it amused me. Every boy's
fantasy...
23 11 2003 Had 3rd curry of the week tonight at my
local. This week I have mostly been eating curry (3) , pizza(2) and thai(1). Diet starts tomorrow...
20 11 2003 Reached 27 years of age today.

11 11 2003 [ tech : media ] Clever, but how long did they waste doing
this?
03 11 2003 Return to work at
BI (where I was based 3 years back) but this time am employed by
CMPI. A few familiar faces which is good.
02 11 2003 Listening to Passion 91.8 streaming classic house on the
net. Pirate radio never sounded this good before.
27 10 2003 Job interviews are like buses. Nothing for ages then 3 come along at the same time!
26 10 2003 [ www : rant ] You wouldn't want to visit, let alone
live here after reading this.
24 10 2003 NO!!!!!!! But wait, help is at hand. Just sign
here ;)
23 10 2003 Pure
stupidity.
13 10 2003 Time to
Govern.
30 09 2003 Has it come to
this?
19 09 2003 It's
Talk like a pirate day. Could get really annoying though.
16 09 2003 RIP Fortnum.
Fortnum (30 08 1991 - 16 09 2003) passed away peacefully in his sleep aged 12. A much loved moggy, he always was a cat of mystery.
14 09 2003 Had to laugh at his today...
Blaine Faulkner: 'I know how crazy this is going to sound, but ... I want to be abducted by aliens.'
Jose Chung: 'Why? Whatever for?'
Blaine Faulkner: 'I hate this town. I hate ... people. I just want to be taken away to someplace where I ... I don't have to worry about finding a job.'
More series 3
here.
21 08 2003 Thought for the day - TRUST NO ONE. Jobhunting begins.
16 08 2003 Gallery update for
Macclesfield weekend.
07 08 2003 [ wild things / denise richards ] recreated a famous film moment today :)
16 07 2003 Found some
communist kittens on the web!
01 07 2003 [ the moon on a stick ] everybody wants
it!
25 06 2003 Photos page
updated.
22 06 2003 Obviously the BBC didn't like
my predictions for the plot of the new Harry Potter book, hence didn’t publish them. I thought a SARS outbreak at Hogwarts and the romantic pairing of Hermoine and Ginny were perfectly acceptable storylines...
16 06 2003 Note to self: Must remember to give
this place a visit.
02 06 2003 Trinity is seen using nmap in matrix 3 >
http://infosecuritymag.techtarget.com/2003/jun/otls.shtml 24 05 2003 Nil pois. That's what europe thinks of a) jemini singing out of tune or b) the uk decision to go to war.
10 05 2003 Watched
100 Worst Britons on Channel 4. Didn't necessarily agree with the voting though. Atomic Kitten opened the show being voted in at 100 :( Picked on for cover versions and being common. Pete Waterman made number 45. He was voted for in for producing manufactured pop Presenter 'jimmy carr' (alledgedly a comedian) is undoubtably the 'worst briton' himself. His smug condescending presentation style only ensured himself a place in a future list. Jade Goody made number 4 (and deservedly so).
06 05 2003 Gallery
updated.
04 05 2003 X2 released today. Take note though Wolverine, I had the sidies first...
25 04 2003 The
Xsession team (who provide hosting for all my sites) need to be credited for introducing me to
Jagermeister. ;)
22 04 2003 My brother took part in
this today!
01 04 2003 A couple of technology stories that caught my eye. A
tribute and (somewhat predictably)
boys will be boys...
22 03 2003 Tattershall Castle wasn't a castle at all. It's a floating pub/club and hence was a good place for some
birthday shenanigans.
20 03 2003 Raed tells all from Baghdad as Britain goes to war.
08 03 2003 This is pretty clever stuff, though how anyone thought of it I'll never know.
02 03 2003 Have decided to republish my
original site rather than delete it. Still like the dynamic html splash screen, even if its not the trend nowadays.
18 02 2003 Spotted the following question for whilst ordering pcs on the Dell website. Well, it may be the only way we will find them... >
'Q4. Will the product(s) be used in connection with weapons of mass destruction, i.e. nuclear applications, missile technology, or chemical or biological weapons purposes?' 16 01 2003 I'm a BOB!
K l E+++ m4 C B-x O L S++++ T A H b11+ D0 to be precise.
Check the
BOB code generator to find out what it means.
01 01 2003 Undoubtably, I share the same
New Year's Resolution as the rest of the planet. Wonder how long it will last...
